In this position, you will be creating patents from start to finish. You may be involved in interviewing clients to evaluate inventive proposals, and in providing support for patent invalidation litigation, and in creating patent portfolios in different industry groups. Given the broad international reach of this firm, you may receive exposure to international patent work. 

TERM: Permanent

You have a minimum of 4 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience either in mechanical or chemical areas. You (1) have an undergraduate degree in science or engineering, (2) you are called in a jurisdiction in either Canada or the US, and (3) you are a patent agent licensed in either Canada or the US. 

ORGANIZATION: This is a significant IP team in a major, national Canadian firm.
