LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT LAW ASSOCIATE
Shell Lawyers seeks a lawyer with up to five years of advocacy/practice experience. Applicants should have a keen interest in advancing equality and social justice by acting for trade unions and their members, advocating on behalf of employees and employee organizations, working with equity-seeking groups and individuals, assisting non-profit and charitable organizations, and developing progressive policies for our clients throughout Canada and beyond.
The successful lawyer will have creative analytic skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to successful, effective advocacy before tribunals and at all levels of courts throughout Canada. Experience in civil litigation, labour and administrative law and class action litigation coupled with people skills are important assets for success in this position.
